This brand-new facility, located on the Ohio River in downtown Lawrenceburg, features over 37,000 square feet of meeting and event space perfect for weddings, corporate meetings, trade and consumer shows, social gatherings and more. The facility, an onsite Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and adjacent restaurant will open later in 2014.

Renowned artist Michael Blaser will unveil an original oil painting this Friday evening at the Dearborn Country Club. The painting depicts a scene of the Aurora, Indiana waterfront as it would have looked in the 1950s. Well-known for his representations of rivers, lakes and maritime scenes, Blaser’s evocative art work draws in the viewer with lifelike details and a keen eye for historical perspective. The Aurora painting showcases a view from the river looking toward the small town, with a car ferry and other watercraft set against a backdrop of Aurora’s historic architecture and many church steeples.
