You’re probably already aware of our Facebook pages (which you can access here and here), Twitter account and blog, but did you know we now have a YouTube Channel? That’s right, Dearborn County tourism can now be found on YouTube, the popular video sharing site that enables users to view and upload video content online.

Even though it’s only January, ski season will be over before you know it, so if you’ve been thinking about a winter trip to Perfect North Slopes, now is the time to go! Lucky for you, our Perfect North ski packages make planning your trip easier than ever, since we’ve already done all of the work for you.

Skiers of all ages will have fun at Perfect North
In addition to two lift tickets to Perfect North, our ski packages include overnight accommodations and breakfast for two at one of several Southeast Indiana hotels, including Holiday Inn Express, Hollywood Casino and Quality Inn & Suites. All are located in Lawrenceburg just a short drive from the slopes, so you’ll spend less time in the car and more time on the ski hill. Best of all, since Perfect’s makes its own snow throughout the winter (you can check out a Snow Report here), you’re guaranteed a great experience no matter when you go.
To learn more about our 2011 Perfect North ski packages, including package rates and availability, visit our online booking page. To check out a live-action view of the Slopes, click here to view one of Perfect North's snow cams.

Feeling a little cooped up these days? Bundle up and head for Southeast Indiana, where you can burn off your excess energy with a refreshing winter hike.

For outdoor adventure that’s close and convenient, Dearborn Trails is a great place to start. This multi-use paved path follows the river and extends for several miles between Lawrenceburg, Aurora and Greendale, offering a scenic alternative to an ordinary walk.
If you’re looking for something a little more remote, don’t miss the Oxbow, a 2,500 acre parcel of land located at the mouth of the Great Miami River along the Ohio River outside of Lawrenceburg. Keep an eye out for migrating birds and soak up the silence of winter in the wetlands.
You can check out all of our outdoor recreation options here, then request trail maps and brochures from the Dearborn County Visitors Bureau. Happy Hiking!
