Hillforest was the home of industrialist and financier Thomas Gaff and his family between 1855 and 1891. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1992.

Dillsboro Halloween Parade

6:00PM, U.S. Bank parking lot, Dillsboro.

Dillsboro Civic Club sponsored parade, costume contest and carved pumpkin judging.

Snacks provided for participants.

Signature Coctail Contest

Local Lawrenceburg and Greendale restaurants are invited to create a "special" cocktail in honor of the Whiskey City Festival, held at the new Lawrenceburg Event Center on November 7th & 8th.

On Thursdays leading up to the festival, selected bars will be featured. Everyone is invited to stop and sample the creations made by local bartenders.

Whisky's is the featured restaurant October 30.
