"A Roar of Thunder" Riverboat Regatta

Lesko Park, St. Rt. 56, Aurora.
Saturday racing 1PM-5PM. Sunday finals 1PM-4PM. Testing at 10AM both days.
Enjoy the 12th year of tunnel boat racing on the Ohio River. Aurora is on the Powerboat Superleague points circuit.
Air show at 2:30PM, Saturday & Sunday.
Antique boat show and beer garden open Saturday & Sunday.

Art, Wine and Cheese at Veraestau

August 28, 6PM-11PM. 4696 Veraestau Lane, Aurora.
Southeastern Indiana Art Guild celebrates the 200th anniversary of Veraestau, one of Indiana's oldest homesteads. With panoramic views of the Ohio River to enjoy, the Guild will have a variety of original artwork available, both for sale and through a Chinese Auction.
$50.00 per person includes a tour of the home, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a wine and appetizer buffet. Ticket price also supports continuing upkeep of Veraestau, as well as encouraging the arts in the southeast Indiana area.
