Step into the Victorian era, and begin your day with a scavenger hunt-style curator’s tour of
Hillforest Victorian House Museum, a beautiful National Historic Landmark overlooking the Ohio River
and the picturesque town of Aurora. Find out who found the most answers to the scavenger hunt clues and
who will be “Queen for a Day” during lunch! Learn the Language of the Fan and practice your “moves” for
your next social occasion. Discovery of social practices continues with a “Red Hat Wave” competition among
attending Red Hat Society members. After a vote of all attendees, “Best Wave” winner will be designated
and considered “Queen for a Day” runner-up, assuming all duties and honors should the winner be unable to
fulfill her duties... |

Gather in the double parlors and enjoy a “linens & luxury” luncheon or a sumptuous 3-course
tea in true Victorian style. “Queen for a Day” and “Best Wave” winners will be honored. |

Strut your stuff through downtown and explore the shops and sights of Aurora while taking the garden streetscape Topiary Tour. Forty-eight topiaries in various sizes and shapes adorn a 3-block area of the residential & business historic district. Can you find all of the topiaries that sport a red hat? |

Travel to Chateau Pomije Winery |
| 3:00-4:30 |
Enjoy a cheese and fruit tray as you sample a variety of the award-winning wines during a
Chateau Pomije tasting experience. |
| 4:30-5:00 |
Travel to Lawrenceburg for hotel check-in. |

Receive a Royal Red Hat Welcome at Argosy Casino & Hotel complete with red carpet,
kazoo fanfare, and individual announcement of your fou-fou Red Hat names as you enter the hotel. After
check-in, enjoy dinner at the incredible Passport Buffet and spend the evening at the world’s largest fl floating
casino. Return to the beautiful Victorian-style hotel lobby and indulge in a “chocolate nightcap” before

Breakfast at the hotel’s Passport Buffet followed by a Red Hat Pavillion Parade from the third
floor restaurant, down the escalators through the Pavillion, and back to the hotel lobby on the first floor of
the hotel. |

Take a short drive The Framery in downtown Lawrenceburg for a morning of hands-on fun. |

Express yourself during an Arts & Crafts Class! Throw on a smock and try your hand at something new. You might end up with a masterpiece! Classes range from Bag Lady Art to Exploring Acrylics. |

Conclude your Red Hat Hoot with lunch and a ghost story at Applewood. Hear a story of a
Civil War wedding and the groom who still lingers in the shadows. Then head for home! |
