Play Music on the Porch Day began with the question: What if for one day everything stopped, and we all just listened to the music? Play Music on the Porch Day is a worldwide event held the last Saturday of August. There are more than a thousand registered locations in countries across the world – including our own City of Aurora!
Coordinated by Main Street Aurora, this year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 29 and will feature a huge number of musicians performing in preselected alleys, courtyards and porches throughout the downtown area. The free event will run from 1-6pm. Check out the event page here to learn more, then start planning your own Southeast Indiana getaway. Enjoy the music!
