Play Music on the Porch Day began with the question: What if for one day everything stopped, and we all just listened to the music? Play Music on the Porch Day is a worldwide event held the last Saturday of August. There are more than a thousand registered locations in countries across the world – including our own City of Aurora!
Coordinated by Main Street Aurora, this year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 30 and will feature dozens of musicians performing throughout the downtown area. The free event will run from 1-6pm. Follow Main Street Aurora on Facebook to learn more, then be sure to check out even more fun events on the Main Street website. Enjoy the music!
