New Year’s Eve is almost upon us, with several great events on the calendar in Southeast Indiana to help you usher in 2025! Here’s a round-up of what’s been planned:

Ice skating
Downtown Lawrenceburg’s Winter Wonderland Ice Rink will be open to skaters on New Year’s Eve from 12-5pm. Located at Todd Creech Park, the covered rink offers a low admission fee of $8 for adults, $6 for children 12-and-under, and is free for children under 4. Admission to the rink includes 90 minutes of skating and skate rental.

New Year’s Eve at Hollywood Casino
Hit the dance floor at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg – including a performance by Zack Attack at Hollywood on the Roof starting at 9:15pm and a “Dance the New Year Away” party at Boogie Nights dance club beginning at 9pm. Admission charged; must be 21 years of age or older to enter.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at Perfect North Slopes
Join Perfect North on December 31 for their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration on the Slopes. In addition to skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing throughout the day (weather permitting; lift tickets required), attendees can enjoy party favors and a DJ in the main lodge. Right before midnight, ski instructors and ski patrol members will glide down the darkened slopes in a torchlight parade – an annual tradition. There will also be a fireworks display to ring in the New Year.
