The Framery – Beginner Fly Fishing Fly Tying Class

Thursday, January 8, 2026 – 6:00pm-8:00pm – Join us at the Framery to learn how to tie flies that are effective on our local waters and beyond. Catching a fish on a fly you tied yourself is a thrill like no other. In class, we will teach you step-by-step how to tie two fly patterns (Foam Spider and Woolly Bugger) that we use locally on our guided trips. This class is for all levels – whether you’ve never tied flies or you’ve tied flies that fail once they hit the water. We’ll cover the basics and answer any questions you may have. This class will have you tying flies and understanding the techniques quickly. Cost: $70. Class will last 2 hours and are limited to six people (four students are needed for the class to take place).
