Grab your kayak or canoe and head to Greendale for the first-ever Tanner’s Creek Paddle event this Saturday, August 8! Hosted by Greendale Main Street, the new fundraising event invites paddlers to enjoy a summer morning on the water, with proceeds benefitting Main Street’s mission to make Greendale a terrific place to live, work and visit.
The group paddle will depart at 9am from the Tanners Creek Kayak Launch, located behind Greendale Cabin at Greendale Park, and travel to the Lawrenceburg Boat Ramp. The event is open to paddlers ages 12 and up, with participants ages 12–15 permitted if accompanied by an adult.
Registration is $15 and includes a commemorative Greendale Main Street floating keychain while supplies last. Participants should bring their own kayak or canoe and life jacket and make arrangements for transportation following the paddle. No shuttle service will be provided. Don’t forget to arrive early to check-in and allow time to get on the water.
Advance registration is available online through the event registration page.
