The holiday season is here, and we’ve got lots of market events on the calendar both this month and next. Start by checking out the annual Holiday Shopping Expo (November 21-23 at the Lawrenceburg Event Center) and the Over the Moon Vintage Holiday Market (November 21-22 at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds). Next, discover a huge selection of gift items by local artisans and shop the silent auction at the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council’s Arts Alive Art Fair & Gift Bazaar (November 22 to December 22, with silent auction on November 29). Moving into December, pick up gift items from around the world at the International Fair Trade Marketplace (December 4-6 at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds) or hit the Christmas in Indiana trail, taking place December 4-7 at many small specialty shops throughout our region. Finally, shop handmade and vintage goods from artisans during Funny Farm Coffee Company’s Holiday Makers’ Market at the Liberty Theater on December 20.
