It’s nearly time for Hillforest’s “Bags and Bucks” Bingo event, an annual girls’ night out planned for the evening of August 6. Sponsored by Hillforest Victorian House Museum, the event will include 20 games of bingo plus snacks, a cash bar, and the chance to win a beautiful new bag. This year’s event will be held at the Clayton Batchelor Pavilion in Aurora, with a $30 admission fee. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the operating support of the museum.
Situated a few blocks from the Ohio River in the city of Aurora, Hillforest Victorian House Museum welcomes visitors for teas, tours and special events from April through December. An 1855 Victorian-style mansion that was once home to industrialist Thomas Gaff and his family, Hillforest is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been designated as a National Historic Landmark.
