Visitors to Southeast Indiana can sample the region’s artisanal wines this weekend at Holtkamp Winery during the special “Souper Saturday” event. Scheduled for Saturday, March 1, the event will offer wine tastings accompanied by complimentary soups at this scenic estate winery previously recognized as Indiana’s “Farm Winery of the Year.”
A family-owned boutique winery located in rural Dearborn County, Holtkamp features an onsite tasting room and is known for their award-winning vintages. Wines made on-site range from dry and semi-dry red and white wines, to sweet fruit wines, dessert wines and more.
Those attending the event should plan to bring ID along with them and select a designated driver in advance. The Souper Saturday event will feature complimentary soup samples from 12-5pm, brick oven pizza available for purchase from 12-8pm, and music by John Kinnemeyer & Tim Ryan from 5-8pm.
