Food, fun and festival activities are on the agenda in Southeast Indiana this month at the Dillsboro Homecoming Festival, an annual street fair named a “Grand Champion Event” four times by the Indiana Association of County and District Fairs. The festival will be held May 13–16 on the streets of downtown Dillsboro.
An annual tradition in this small town located off U.S. 50, the popular festival is known for its unusual contests, including its trademark frog-jumping and best-dressed-frog competitions, planned for Friday evening. Attendees will also enjoy carnival rides and games, a midway with food and informational booths, 5K Run/Walk, beer garden, live music, a large Saturday morning parade and more.
Live entertainment will also take center stage, with Rusty Bladen and the Livin’ Daylights scheduled to perform Wednesday night, Falls City Boys on Thursday, The York Ridge Boys on Friday, and The Renegades opening for Naked Karate Girls on Saturday.
As always, the Dillsboro Homecoming Festival offers free admission and is a fun event for the entire family. For a complete schedule of festival events, click here.
