Visitors to Southeast Indiana will enjoy pioneer demonstrations and activities of all types later this month at the Dearborn County Historical Society’s Pioneer Day. The free event will take place on Saturday, September 27 at the Angevine Cabin on High Street in downtown Lawrenceburg. The event is a great opportunity for visitors to explore early 1800s history and culture, with activities including tours of the pioneer-era cabin, special displays and demonstrations, live performances by the Forget Me Not Historical Dance Company and more. New this year is a water area with scale-sized historical paddle wheeler boats – a must-see for kids and adults alike. Don’t miss this chance to step back in time and experience a taste of the region’s pioneer history!
