Food, fun and festival activities are on the agenda in Southeast Indiana this week at the Dillsboro Homecoming Festival, an annual street fair named a “Grand Champion Event” four times by the Indiana Association of County and District Fairs. The festival will be held May 14-17 on the streets of downtown Dillsboro.
An annual tradition in this small town located off U.S. 50, the popular festival is known for its unusual contests, including its trademark frog-jumping and best-dressed-frog competitions. Attendees will also enjoy carnival rides and games, a midway with food and informational booths, 5K Run/Walk, beer garden, live music, a large Saturday morning parade and more.
Live entertainment will also take center stage, with Sons of Dearborn scheduled to perform Wednesday night, Hi-Infidelity (REO Speedwagon tribute band) on Thursday, Naked Karate Girls on Friday, and 90 Proof Twang followed by The Renegades opening for headliners Little Texas on Saturday.
As always, the Dillsboro Homecoming Festival offers free admission and is a fun event for the entire family. For a complete schedule of festival event, click here.
