By entering, you agree to these Official Rules (“Rules”) and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this giveaway (the “Giveaway”).
1. Sponsor
The Giveaway is sponsored by Dearborn County Convention, Visitor & Tourism Bureau, d/b/a Dearborn County Visitor Center, 320 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025 (“Sponsor”).
2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, July 27, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, August 10, 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who reside within the contiguous continental United States (i.e., excluding Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and all other locations) and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its partner organizations, and each of their respective immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling, and each of their spouses) and household members, whether related or not, are not eligible to enter or win.
This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
To enter, complete the Travel Preferences Survey at https://dearborn-county-visitor-center.myklpages.com/l/XWS5td during the Entry Period, providing a valid email address, mailing address, and responses to the survey questions presented. Entrants must complete all required fields, including a valid mailing address for prize fulfillment purposes, to be entered.
Limit: one (1) entry per person and per email address for the duration of the Entry Period, regardless of the number of times an individual accesses or submits the survey. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be disqualified.
Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means, or entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or that do not meet these Rules, are void.
5. Prizes
Five (5) winners will each receive one (1) gift card valued at $100.00 USD to a local restaurant in the Southeast Indiana region. Each winner’s specific restaurant gift card will be randomly assigned by Sponsor at the time of the drawing from among the following participating restaurants:
- Giulietta’s Italian Steakhouse
- Third & Main
- Nourish Kitchen & Market
- Renck’s 1860 Coffee Shop
- Janet’s Diner
Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all prizes: $500.00 USD.
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution, cash equivalent, or exchange is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed restaurant becomes unavailable. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and use, as well as any use of the prize not specified herein.
6. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
Five (5) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, or its authorized representative, on the evening of Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
Potential winners will be notified by email at the address provided at the time of entry. Sponsor is not responsible for notifications that are lost, intercepted, or not received for any reason, including as a result of spam or junk email filtering.
Each potential winner may be required to respond to the notification within [7] days of the date notification is sent, and, where lawful, to confirm their mailing address and sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited by law) in order to claim the applicable prize. Upon confirmation, Sponsor will mail the winner’s gift card to the mailing address provided at the time of entry within [15] business days. Sponsor is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, delayed, or misdirected in the mail as a result of an incomplete or inaccurate mailing address provided by the entrant. If a potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required time period, fails to return the required documents within the required time period, or is found to be ineligible, that potential winner will forfeit the prize and Sponsor may, in its discretion, select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
8. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Giveaway, or these Rules, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, and each of its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Giveaway; (b) any injury, loss, or damage of any kind to person or property, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize; and (c) any printing, typographical, administrative, or other error in any materials associated with the Giveaway.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Giveaway constitutes each winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s name, city and state of residence, and likeness for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration, unless prohibited by law.
10. Privacy and Use of Entrant Information
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://visitsoutheastindiana.com/privacy-policy/. Information submitted with an entry is collected by Sponsor and may be used to contact entrants about future Sponsor communications, in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and applicable marketing consent provided at the time of entry.
11. Disputes / Governing Law
This Giveaway and these Rules will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. As a condition of participating in this Giveaway, entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Dearborn County, Indiana.
12. Social Media Disclaimer
This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Giveaway must be directed to Sponsor, not to the social media platform.
13. Winner List / Rules Request
For a copy of these Rules or the name of the prize winner(s), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Sponsor at 320 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025, to be received within thirty (30) days after the Entry Period ends, or email dearborn@visitsoutheastindiana.com with the subject line “Travel Preferences Survey Giveaway — Rules/Winner Request.”
