The holidays are just around the corner, and here in Southeast Indiana we’re rolling out the welcome mat with a variety of great things to see and do throughout November and December. Head outdoors for an afternoon of ice-skating, or grab the kids for breakfast with Santa or a festive Christmas parade. Our historic small towns come alive at this time of year with loads of holiday events, so mark your calendar for fun activities at Lawrenceburg’s Winter Wonderland, Dillsboro’s Hometown Christmas, Aurora’s Miracle on Main, and Making Greendale Bright. Celebrate a 19th-century Christmas at elegant Hillforest Museum, or visit Reindeer Ridge – a real live reindeer farm where you can visit with Santa’s helpers and even see the big guy himself. Top it off with a relaxing meal at one of our area restaurants or make a weekend of it with a stay at a Southeast Indiana hotel.
